AFGC Annual Meeting Is In Pennsylvania
Researchers, scientists, forage and livestock producers and agribusiness personnel will attend the June 24-26 American Forage and Grassland Council (AFGC) annual meeting at Penn Stater Conference Center and Hotel, State College, PA. The event is being co-sponsored by the Pennsylvania Forage and Grassland Council and the Northeastern Branch of the American Society of Agronomy, Crop and Soil Sciences.
It will feature symposia, scientific posters, student contests, tours, exhibits and networking designed to advance the knowledge and use of forage as a prime feed resource, says AFGC President Bill Talley with Summit Seed Coatings in Princeton, KY.
"This gathering," adds Marvin Hall, conference chair and a Penn State University extension forage specialist, "is the place to be for learning about this important agricultural resource and to share experiences and information with colleagues and friends."
Details and registration are available at www.afgc.org. Or, contact AFGC at 800-944-2342 for information or questions
