The Kentucky Alfalfa Conference, set for Feb. 22 at the Cave City Convention Center, will include cutting-edge research about pea aphids as well as alfalfa management information. Tips on successful alfalfa establishment and avoiding spontaneous combustion in hay barns also will be given. Ray Smith, University of Kentucky extension forage specialist, will present an overview on Roundup Ready alfalfa’s first year on the market.
