Kentucky Alfalfa Conference Is Feb. 22
The Kentucky Alfalfa Conference, set for Feb. 22 at the Cave City Convention Center, will include cutting-edge research about pea aphids as well as alfalfa management information. Tips on successful alfalfa establishment and avoiding spontaneous combustion in hay barns also will be given. Ray Smith, University of Kentucky extension forage specialist, will present an overview on Roundup Ready alfalfas first year on the market. Registration is $15 and includes admission to all conference events, a trade show, refreshments, meal, proceedings and other educational materials.
