Manitoba Grazing School Is Dec. 3-5

The Manitoba Forage Council's 2007 Manitoba Grazing School, set for Dec. 3-5, will focus on ways to turn grass into cash. The school will be held at the Keystone Center in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. Speakers will address ways to maximize production, profitability and sustainability. Grass farmers will talk about their experiences with direct-marketing business models and managing land through lease agreements using basic grazing concepts. A producer panel is also scheduled.
