Renewable Fuel Summit In Washington Aug. 8
The National Alfalfa & Forage Alliance (NAFA) is sponsoring a Renewable Fuel Summit featuring alfalfa, to be held Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Russell Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C. Alfalfa's use in biofuels production will be discussed by USDA dairy and soils scientists, a director of the National Corn Growers Association and the chair of the Renewable Fuels Association's cellulose committee, among others. USDA and Department of Energy biofuels research, a legislative update and round-table discussions are also on the agenda.
