Washington State Grazing Conference
A multi-species grazing conference will be held May 8 at the Washington State University Tri-Cities campus in Richland, WA. A field day held the next day at the Barker Ranch near Richland will focus on using goats and cattle to manage noxious weeds. Nationally recognized goat and cattle graziers will talk on management and marketing of meat goats; grazing and browsing principles; fencing, water and mineral needs; guard dog uses and contract vegetation management among other topics during the two days.
