New Holland’s T6 Series tractors are available in six models ranging from 90 to 120 pto horsepower. Their four- and six-cylinder engines feature the company’s EcoBlue Selective Catalytic Reduction technology, which delivers better fuel economy and more torque. Instead of recycling exhaust gases, the EcoBlue system takes clean air directly into the engine.
Four transmission options are available. The tractors’ three-point lift capacity ranges from 9,620 to 13,460 lbs, and they come with a standard 18-gpm, open-center hydraulic system or an optional 26-gpm, closed-center, load-sensing system. Visit www.newholland.com/na.
John Deere’s Advanced Baler-Mounted Hay Moisture Tester takes the guesswork out of determining if hay is too dry or wet to bale. Moisture sensors are mounted on both sides of the bale chamber for greater accuracy; readings, updated every three seconds in the tractor cab, are presented in 0.1% increments.
Features include a large, illuminated LCD display and keypad for easy viewing, and an operating moisture range of 8-30%, depending on the type of baler used. It can be installed on any Deere small square or large round baler. Visit www.johndeere.com .
Freeman has introduced the first manufacturer-designed-and-built bale scale, with an in-cab monitor that lets the operator monitor bale weight in real time.
Easily mounted to any new or existing three-tie side-feed Freeman baler, it can help deliver more-uniform bales, reduce cycle time and improve efficiency. Call 503-625-2560 or visit www.alliedsystems.com.
