Hay producers in Colorado have until June 14 to submit listings for the 2013 Colorado Hay Directory published by the state ag department.

Each listing in the directory, now in its 27th year, includes the type and amount of hay available, bale type and size, whether or not laboratory analysis is available, certified weed-free status and whether it’s organic hay. Listings are grouped by region of the state; the fee to list is $25.

Companies offering hay-related products or services can also advertise in the directory, which will be available in August through Colorado State University Extension offices and various state livestock associations. It will also be distributed at ag events, including the Colorado State Fair, National Western Stock Show and the Colorado Farm Show.

An online directory will be available at www.coloradoagriculture.com/hay.

For more information, contact the Colorado Department of Agriculture’s Market Division at 303-239-4115 or loretta.lopez@state.co.us.
