Some Midwestern hay growers find it economically viable to treat alfalfa for pests like potato leafhoppers.
Tips on reading pesticide labels and correctly interpreting label information will be offered at the annual Twilight Meeting of the Dodge and Fond du Lac County Forage Councils. It will be held at 7 p.m., June 18, at Elsinger Farms, Lomira, WI.
The evening's free program is open to all interested producers and forage council members.
Glenn Nice, University of Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator Training program manager, will be the featured speaker.
