A July 5 webinar on strategies and financial incentives for reducing pesticide runoff on rangelands will be sponsored by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service’s ecosystem science and management unit.

“With fuel and chemical prices on the rise, following best management practices for applying pesticides can reduce the operating costs on a ranch in addition to reducing the risk of environmental contamination from storm-water runoff,” says Brent Clayton, an Extension program specialist.

The webinar will run from noon to 1 p.m. and can be accessed at naturalresourcewebinars.org. For more information, contact Brittany Grube at Brittany.grube@agnet.tamu.edu.
