Kentucky Alfalfa Conference Is Feb. 19

University extension specialists, company representatives and growers will present the latest information on alfalfa production and marketing at the 29th Kentucky Alfalfa Conference, set for Feb. 19 at the Cave City Convention Center in Cave City.

Topics will include: the art and science of haymaking, RFV vs. RFQ, impact of seed price and seeding rate on production cost, alfalfa hay for horses, alfalfa as a grazing crop, keys to success with baleage, Roundup Ready and future GMOs in alfalfa, and the cost and return of alfalfa hay production.
