The Dec. 6 program will include a University of Missouri forage research update and the following additional topics: agronomic and economic importance of forages, the art and science of grazing, using stockpiled fescue efficiently for beef cows, 10 ideas for 365 days of grazing and the future of grass — energy or grazing?
The symposium will also include programs on beef cattle, horses, sheep, meat goats, stock dogs and renewable resources. For more details, go to mis sourilivestock.com or call Bruce Lane at 660-665-9866 or Garry Mathes at 660-341-6625.
