Sept. 5 is the entry deadline for the 2003 World’s Forage Analysis Superbowl, the annual quality contest that culminates in October at the World Dairy Expo.

The contest, now in its 20th year, is sponsored in part by Hay & Forage Grower.

This year’s top prizes include a season’s use of a forage wagon, disc mower-conditioner, TMR mixer, silage bagger, wheel rake or feeder wagon. Numerous additional prizes include alfalfa seed, forage inoculants, etc.

You may enter either of two divisions: the Dairy Division, open to growers with milk production information, or the Commercial Division, open to all other growers. The Dairy Division is divided into hay, haylage and corn silage classes, while the Commercial Division has two classes: hay and bale silage.

Other superbowl sponsors include AgSource Cooperative Services, DairyBusiness Communications, the University of Wisconsin, the U.S. Dairy Forage Research Center and World Dairy Expo.
