A Winter Pasture and Stocker Cattle Seminar will be held July 24 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Noble Foundation Kruse Auditorium, Ardmore, OK.
Hosted by the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, its ag consultants and invited speakers will discuss stocker health and nutrition, cool-season forage production and management, and the market. In addition, a local stocker-cattle operator will tell how to manage a successful stocker enterprise.
"This seminar is a great opportunity for producers to brush up on management techniques," says Dan Childs, Noble Foundation ag economist. “As input costs continue to creep up, it is more important than ever to be as efficient as possible to ensure the vitality of our cattle and operations."
