Vermeer’s Rancher 664 round baler makes high-density bales that are 47” wide and up to 66” in diameter, weighing up to 1,450 lbs. Heavy-built and designed for user-friendly operation, its minimum power requirement is 50 hp, although 70 hp is recommended.
A state-of-the-art Bale Expert monitor provides instant bale-forming information and control from the tractor cab, including the option of real-time hay moisture reporting. When a bale is finished, an optional net-wrap system feeds net directly to the main belts, eliminating the need for rubber feed rollers and feed belts.
Now available from Cleanfix North America Ltd., Cleanfix Reversible Fans are beneficial wherever airborne debris clogs cooling systems, causing overheating and costly downtime. The company’s variable-pitch reversible fans also provide significant fuel savings in a wide range of operating conditions.
The fans are offered as standard or optional equipment by several equipment manufacturers, and are available for aftermarket installation on many other models.
Kuhn Primor 3570 bale processor is ideal for distributing bedding in bedded-pack barns or direct feeding of hay or silage. It can process large square bales up to 4 x 4 x 9’ and round bales that are 4’ wide and up to 6’6” in diameter.
Its adjustable feed-regulation system provides greater consistency in processing, with 6-12” cutting lengths, and also consistent distribution to handle varying materials. The bale chamber has been lengthened vs. previous models, increasing the total capacity and making it better-suited for direct loading of silage with a bucket.
Art’s Way Manufacturing’s Model 6520 grinder mixer has a 165-bu-capacity tank and self-contained hydraulics – no tractor hydraulics are required. Its discharge augers are driven by hydraulic orbit motors.
Other features: A high-capacity, 10”-diameter, hydraulic-driven discharge system; a remote-control system for auger positioning, tank discharge and operation of the grinder mixer; and double hammers in the hammermill for a more consistent grind and lower power requirement.
Designed with improved comfort and control, the D450 self-propelled windrower also delivers increased horsepower. John Deere’s new machine features a 200-hp, six-cylinder PowerTech engine with heavy-duty planetary drives and final drives for extra durability in the toughest cutting conditions.
It comes with larger front tires and the IntelliAxle system, a speed-sensing rear steering-assist feature that uses hydraulic pressure to enhance maneuverability and control. Its CommandCenter displays give the operator accurate control of all settings.
