Bob and Karyn Schauf of Indianhead Holsteins, Barron, WI, took Grand Championship for their brown-midrib corn silage entry in the World Forage Analysis Superbowl at World Dairy Expo in Madison, WI. They are pictured with Mycogen Seeds representative Kathleen Emery.
Their winning silage tested 37.1% starch, 35.5% NDF and 65.3% NDF digestibility, producing 3,754 lbs of milk per ton.
