A total of $18,000 in prize money was handed out during the Feb. 14 Forage Challenge luncheon at World Ag Expo, Tulare, CA. The three first-place winners in the alfalfa, BMR corn silage and conventional corn silage categories each won $3,000 in cash prizes; second-place finishers, $2,000 each; and third-place winners, $1,000 each. Award presenters are Eric Sitzman, corn products manager for Mycogen Seeds, at left of each winner, and Bob Charley of Lallamand Animal Nutrition, at right of each winner. Mycogen sponsored the event; Lallamand provided the cash prizes.
