Windrowers

Three self-propelled windrower models from Case IH ensure clean cutting, smooth crop flow and consistent conditioning. Each WDX Series windrower can be equipped with a sicklebar header in 12, 14, 16 or 18' cutting width. The biggest model — WDX1701 — comes with either a sicklebar or disc header.

Mower-Conditioner

The midsize New Idea 5512 center-pivot disc mower-conditioner features a unique helper roll for better cutting, especially in light spots; new gear-to-gear disc drives; and an optional drawbar-mounted swivel hitch.

Eight counter-rotating discs, with two swing-away, reversible knives per disc, turn at 2,600 rpm for a knife tip speed of 184 mph. Thanks to a modular design and gear-to-gear drive, cutting height can be set as close as 1.3".

Forage Blower

Hesston's high-capacity Model 7505 forage blower features a 59" fan with eight blades turning at 540 rpm, or 650 rpm with an optional 1,000 rpm pto speed reducer. Feeding the fan is a large auger with 14" flights on a 2" shaft driven by two sets of double 5VX-type V-belts.

The blower is designed for tractors with at least 60 pto horsepower.

Bale Carrier

MacDon's Model 1010 round bale carrier gently handles six to eight round bales. Gentler handling is due in part to its recessed chain drive, which reduces the likelihood of damage to the twine or net-wrap.

Also, the machine has a positive push-off mechanism and smooth rails, which let bales slide freely during loading and unloading. In addition, bale integrity is protected by an optional rotating pickup arm, which provides extra reach for more accurate bale placement into the carrier.
