Disc Blade System

With Vermeer's Quick-Clip disc mower blade retention system, a full set of cutterbar blades can be replaced or reversed in minutes. With one simple tool, just slide the clip out, reload, and tap it back in. There's no need to lock down the cutterbar to secure rotating discs, and you handle just two replacement parts — the pin and clip.

The system is standard equipment on all new Vermeer disc mowers and mower-conditioners.

Economy Mowers

Three economy disc mowers from Case IH are rugged and reliable. The MDX21 (four discs, 5'6" cutting width), MDX31 (five discs, 6'9" cutting width) and MDX41 (six discs, 7'11" cutting width) have oval-shaped cutting discs with two knives per disc.

The heavy-duty, reversible knives are protected by rock guards and skid shoes. An adjustable flotation spring allows the operator to change the ground pressure applied to the cutterbar, and a spring-loaded breakaway latch protects the cutterbar.

Disc Mowers

New Holland's economical HM Series disc mowers deliver fast, dependable cutting performance. Available in cutting widths ranging from 5'6" to 7'11", they slice cleanly through thick, wet crops, even at high speeds.

Low-profile, oval-shaped cutting discs have two double-edged, reversible knives. Rock guards and skid shoes protect the discs and carry the cutterbar over uneven ground.
