Trailed Tedder

A six-rotor, trailed rotary tedder with a 25'7" working width is now part of the Kuhn Farm Machinery lineup. The unit features a drawbar hitch, hydraulic vertical-fold capability and automatic tine-position control. Large hyper-balloon tires on the center rotors and super-balloon tires on the outer rotors provide smooth operation over irregular ground.

Field Software

SMS Mobile, a software package from Ag Leader Technology, allows growers to take SMS software to the field on a Windows-based mobile device. It tracks field boundaries, logs data on tillage and mowing operations and features a mode to pinpoint soil-sampling areas.

Compact Tractors

Kubota Tractor Corp. introduces the Grand L40 series. It provides three types of advanced transmissions, powerful Kubota diesel engines and redesigned operator-station features. The series' electronically controlled hydrostatic transmission, called the HST Plus, has four innovative functions that create a new dimension of performance and ease of operation. Kubota's three-vortex, combustion-system engines range from 34 to 59 hp.

Tractor Hitch

Laforge's HDI front three-point hitch has been designed to fit Case-IH MX 215, 245, 275 and 305 Next Generation tractors. Its innovative reinforcing mid-frame eliminates the need for any structural member underneath the front axle. This gives the tractor full ground clearance regardless if it's equipped with a suspended or standard MFD front axle. A dozer blade mounted on the hitch provides full clearance and a high lift height. Lift capacity is 13,200 lbs.

Self-Propelled Sprayer

The Nitro N2XP self-propelled sprayer from Miller-St. Nazianz is mid-sized with an 800- or 1,000-gallon tank. It can hydraulically change wheel spacing from 72" to 120" and front and rear wheels can be spaced at different widths to cut compaction. Its Cummins 6.7L QSB Tier III engine features 215 hp with a road speed of 36 mph. Boom lengths are from 60' to 90'.
