Youth and adults vied for cash prizes in the fifth annual Sealpro® You Be the Judge Silage Evaluation Contest during World Ag Expo in Tulare, Calif. The contest was held in the Sealpro display booth. Contest results were announced February 15 at a ceremony in the Sealpro® display just west of the show’s Dairy Center.
Entrants placed four corn silage samples. Official rankings are based on complete lab analysis and actual sample inspection. Contestants competed for prize money at each level: First place $250, Second place $100, Third place $50.
“Our goal for the contest was to engage everyone through sight, smell, touch, and science,” said Connie Kuber, Connor Agriscience.

The contest is only held at World Ag Expo and is sponsored by Sealpro Silage Barrier Film and Lallemand Animal Nutrition.
