DuPont Pioneer Awards Nearly $100,000 in Local Grants for Education, Food Security and Community Betterment

$500,000 Awarded in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin over last four years

Fifty-eight schools and local organizations have received nearly $100,000 in community investment grants from DuPont Pioneer in 2015. These grants, awarded through the Pioneer Northern Business Unit, which is comprised of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin, helped support local projects that are focused on education, food security and community betterment.

“We commend the individuals and organizations in our rural communities who are dedicating their time and energy to educating our youth, protecting and assisting their neighbors, and improving the communities in which we live,” said Patrick Yockey, DuPont Pioneer director – Northern Business Unit. “Pioneer is proud to live, work and volunteer alongside these outstanding groups.”

Over the last four years, DuPont Pioneer has awarded over $500,000 in grants within its Northern Business Unit to support efforts ranging from agricultural education programs, making critical investments in local fire departments, and supporting several community projects in these four states.
