Hrnicek named Vita Plus forage products specialist

Nathan Hrnicek was recently hired as a Vita Plus forage products specialist. Hrnicek will work closely with the eastern region dairy team to provide on-farm forage support for staff and dairy producers in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. Additionally, he will work with the Vita Plus forage team to research and continue to provide the highest level of expertise on forage products for producers.

Hrnicek grew up on his family’s 1,200-acre diversified crop and livestock farm. He earned his associate’s degree in general agriculture from the Ivy Tech Community College in Lafayette, Indiana and is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics at Purdue University. Hrnicek worked for a period of time in agronomy and seed sales positions, providing programs and products specific to customer needs. Most recently, he worked as a district sales manager for a seed company, increasing sales in all major seed varieties in his district, and as a technical nutrient advisor for an agricultural sample analysis laboratory.
