Rock River Laboratory announces the hiring of Cliff Ocker as Director of Sales and Client Relations. In his new position, Ocker will utilize his vast experience to share insights with both team members and customers, foster relationships, and grow partnerships in the regional areas surrounding Rock River Laboratory’s five domestic laboratories in California, New York, Ohio, and Wisconsin.“Cliff’s background combines extensive nutrition and analysis knowledge, which is perfect to fulfill our customers’ needs,” explains Zac Meyer, Rock River Laboratory director of operations. “As the agriculture industry faces challenging times ahead, we know Cliff can offer field expertise to guide our customers toward realizing opportunities and successes for both their team and their own clients in the future.” Ocker’s roots lie in Greencastle, Penn., where he grew up on a small dairy farm. After earning an Associate’s Degree in Agriculture Business Management from Penn State University, he has built over 17 years of experience as a dairy nutrition consultant. Ocker’s background also includes feed additive sales and an extensive tenure in an operations and client relations role at an agriculture analysis laboratory in Maryland.
