Tie Down Engineering Acquires Assets of Maxilator, A Groundbreaking Agricultural Manufacturer and Leader in Hay Handling Equipment |

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Maxilator will operate as a division of Tie Down. “As Maxilator’s manufacturing partner, we were already quite familiar with the ingenious designs of their groundbreaking hay handling equipment and saw an opportunity to grow even faster as a single, combined entity,” said Chuck MacKarvich, president and CEO of Tie Down Engineering. “Not only did their current products impress us, but what we saw on the drawing board was truly innovative and potentially disruptive for the market.” Maxilator’s portfolio of products, which are sold through distributors and independent dealers in more than 40 states and Canada, gather, lift, load, split, transport and offload hay.
