Focused on customers’ evolving operational needs, New Holland Agriculture North America is expanding its round baler offering with the launch of the all-new Pro-Belt™ Series and Roll-Belt™ 450 Utility PLUS model. Customers can expect a new class of performance and reliability with the Pro-Belt Series and proven Roll-Belt performance with the Roll-Belt 450 Utility PLUS. “These new round balers demonstrate New Holland’s commitment to offer more options to better meet customer needs, regardless of operation size, while continuing to raise the bar on equipment and bale quality,” says Sally Johnson, Vice President for New Holland Agriculture North America. Pro-Belt Series: Balers Built for Business Pro-Belt round balers deliver maximum dependability and performance to enhance the productivity of professional haymakers and contractors. The Pro-Belt 450 and 460 build solid, square-shouldered bales time and time again. They feature heavy-duty components, like the TwinDrive™ gearbox, and more robust construction to enhance reliability for a higher bale count over the baler’s lifetime. Feeding excellence is the result of the MaxiSweep™ pickup and the impressive throughput of the SuperFeed™ rotary feeding system or 13- or 25-knife CropCutter® rotary feeding and cutting system. Inside the chamber, customers will find a simple yet highly effective design with few moving parts paired with four wide premium endless belts to minimize maintenance. The ActiveDrop™ floor system is standard on all versions, minimizing the risk of crop plugging. To reduce periodic maintenance, automatic chain oiling and banked grease zerks are standard. An automatic greasing system and under-shield service lighting are controlled through the display and available. These balers deliver an intuitive user interface with advanced ISOBUS electronics. Available standard with premium electronics that work with customer’s virtual terminal display and ISOBUS connection or the IntelliView™ IV 10.4-inch color touchscreen display. Operators can adjust numerous features and activate IntelliBale™ baler automation to automate the baling cycle with a compatible tractor. “When baling is your business, Pro-Belt balers are built to deliver more bales on the ground and performance your operation can depend on. The technology in these balers is second to none, with accurate moisture sensing and available IntelliBale baler automation to deliver the greatest productivity possible,” states Jordan Milewski, Conventional Haytools Marketing Manager for New Holland Agriculture North America. Roll-Belt 450 Utility PLUS: Simple, Rugged, All Roll-Belt “Small farms and livestock operations that make dry round bales on their own schedules demand simple haytools built for the long haul. That’s exactly why we designed the Roll-Belt™ 450 Utility PLUS round baler,” Johnson says. By combining an easy-to-use, reliable design with rugged performance for effortless production of dense 4’ by 5’ bales, the Roll-Belt 450 Utility PLUS can maintain a low power requirement of just 45 PTO horsepower PLUS improved performance. The Roll-Belt 450 Utility PLUS also includes the new SuperSweep™ pickup design that is wider and has a mechanical stuffer, delivering improved feeding compared to the prior model. “The pickup is 35% wider to gather big windrows on small farms for easier baling,” Milewski comments. With the proven Roll-Belt chamber design and six mini rough top belts, customers can expect the reliable baling that New Holland is known for. New balers making first appearance at 2022 Farm Progress Show A Pro-Belt 450 CropCutter with 25 knives and Roll-Belt 450 Utility PLUS will make its public debut at the 2022 Farm Progress Show, August 30 – September 1, 2022, in Boone, Iowa.
