Forage Seminars at World Ag Expo, on Feb. 14 in Tulare, CA, will feature the latest in forage harvesting equipment.
Innovative forage harvesting equipment will be one of several focuses of the 2012 Hay and Forage Seminars, to be held the first day of the Feb. 14-16 World Ag Expo in Tulare, CA.
Manufacturers will talk about new baling, merging and other equipment that can prepare and harvest hay and corn silage efficiently and at high quality. Company representatives will make presentations from John Deere, Staheli, Shredlage, Hesston by Massey Ferguson and Oxbo International Corp.
A panel of producers and a dairy nutritionist will discuss high-quality forage while University of California experts will tell how to price corn silage based on quality.
Headline speaker Seth Hoyt, who weekly writes The Hoyt Reportmarketing newsletter, will make hay pricing predictions for the months ahead.
