Hay prices edged upward in many areas in recent weeks as the heaviest feeding season began to wind down and supplies dwindled. Overall, prices are slightly above month-ago levels and significantly higher than they were a year ago.

These prices were gathered by USDA in early March. Figures followed by (D) are delivered prices. All others are at the farm. Cube and pellet prices are for bulk sales.
