The Wisconsin Forage Council will again hold its annual symposium in conjunction with the state's custom harvesting and custom manure applicator groups. The event will be held Jan. 30-31 at the Antiqua Bay Resort, Wisconsin Dells.
First-day topics include: proper corn silage processing, equipment to speed hay drying, rake design, enterprise budgeting, alternate forages, silage storage, relative forage quality and custom operator business planning. Second-day subjects will be: no-till and reduced-till alfalfa, hybrid alfalfa, potato leafhopper-resistant alfalfa, and getting maximum corn silage yield.
