Wisconsin Event Is Three In One

The Wisconsin Forage Council will again hold its annual symposium in conjunction with the state's custom harvesting and custom manure applicator groups. The Wisconsin Forage Council will again hold its annual symposium in conjunction with the state's custom harvesting and custom manure applicator groups. The event will be held Jan. 30-31 at the Antiqua Bay Resort, Wisconsin Dells.

First-day topics include: proper corn silage processing, equipment to speed hay drying, rake design, enterprise budgeting, alternate forages, silage storage, relative forage quality and custom operator business planning. Second-day subjects will be: no-till and reduced-till alfalfa, hybrid alfalfa, potato leafhopper-resistant alfalfa, and getting maximum corn silage yield.
