New bermudagrass and fescue varieties, more efficient nitrogen fertilizers, forage quality comparisons and switchgrass for forage and biomass are topics to be discussed at the April 25 Beef Producers’ Forage Field Day. It will be at the University of Georgia’s Plant Sciences Farm near Watkinsville.

A demonstration of research equipment will be held and dinner will be served at the event, scheduled to run from 5:30 p.m. until dark. The cost is $5.
