Charging into a new decade, Vermeer will sell a series of innovative hay tools that will widely impact how producers make hay in the upcoming season. From mowers to tedders to balers, producers will “Buck the Trend” in the field with Vermeer. Highlighted below are a few of the machines that will be shown in Vermeer booth #4296 at this year’s National Farm Machinery Show (NFMS).

The latest of these innovative hay tools — the 604R Premium baler — streamlines the high-quality hay-making process with the new net lift system. Demonstrations of the net lift system at NFMS will show how easy it is to load netwrap into the baler. The 604R Premium is one of four new Vermeer balers released last fall, also including the 604R Signature baler and 604 Pro Generation 3 baler, which will both be in the booth.

The Quick Hitch hookup on the all-new 50-series 3-point disc mowers is the latest advancement to 3-point mowers in North America. Connecting to a tractor is now a one-person task, and in a few steps producers can hookup and get to the field faster to make hay.

The TM1410 trailed mower was released more than two years ago, but it still bucks the trend with the widest cutting width in the industry at more than 27 feet. It will also be featured in the booth this year.

For faster dry-down time, producers can apply the practice of tedding to ensure an even and consistent forage dry down with the latest 10-series TE tedders, check out the TE2510 in the Vermeer booth.

Vermeer will also have a ZR5-1200 self-propelled baler on hand. If you haven’t had the chance to see this industry-changing innovation, now is the time to get an up-close view and learn more about its patent-pending suspension system, zero-turn capabilities and one-step baling automation — and how it can help operators get from field to field at speeds up to 30 miles per hour. A virtual reality station will be present for attendees to experience the ZR5-1200 from inside the cab.

The Vermeer booth #4296 in Louisville, Kentucky, will be an experience like no other, with access to new machines and opportunities to chat with product specialists who can help you develop high-value coverage of the show for your readers. I am attaching a fact sheet of the all-new products from Vermeer, in case you want a sneak peek before the show.
