Corn-silage production will be one of the topics discussed at the March 21 Michigan State University Extension webinar.
Costs of forage production, corn silage and drought-recovery management will be discussed during a Michigan State University (MSU) Extension webinar scheduled for March 21.
Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions of MSU forage production experts during the Online Crop and Forage Highlights webinar, which will run from 7 to 9 p.m. Speakers will include: Bob Nielsen, Purdue University Extension agronomist; Kim Cassida, MSU Extension forage specialist; Phil Kaatz, MSU Extension field crops specialist; and Allen Krizek, Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program educational coordinator.
The program can be viewed independently online or participants can attend a group viewing at one of several sites throughout Michigan. A $10 registration fee will be charged anyone attending group-viewing sessions.
