Video: How To Lower Silage Losses

RSS

Make sure your silage feedout rate and silo or pile design work together – that’s how to reduce dry matter losses and spoilage, say silage experts. In the accompanying video, Noelia Silva-del Rio, farm advisor for Cooperative Extension Tulare County in California, says producers in her state need to feed off the entire faces of silos or piles.
