Registrations are now being accepted for the 2013 Alfalfa Intensive Training Seminar, scheduled for Nov. 19-21 at the Embassy Suites Denver International Airport.

Sponsored by the National Alfalfa and Forage Alliance (NAFA), this comprehensive seminar trains agronomists, sales managers, crop advisors, nutritionists, Extension agents and alfalfa growers about alfalfa growth and management. Nationally known industry specialists from across the country will be course instructors.

Topics to be covered include genetics, varieties, variety development, seed production and plant growth and development. Soil fertility, irrigation and water use, harvest management and aids, forage quality, sampling and other topics will also be discussed.

Space is limited. The seminar cost is $550 if registering before Nov. 1 and $600 thereafter. The fee includes instructional materials, refreshment breaks and lunches. See a brochure and register.
