Small Square Baler
The Case IH SB541c is a heavy-duty small square baler that can handle challenging baling conditions. Its hydraulically controlled side tension rails are bent to bias pressure toward the plunger bale-forming area. The lower cross rail is heavy to prevent bending at maximum pressure. Its bale case is 12" longer and 0.76 mm thicker than on the company's SB541 model for improved bale shape. Other features include a wide pickup, smooth rotary feeding system and gear-driven knotters and twisters with hard-surface material at all wear points.

A rotor feeder system with side augers feeds the crop into the bale chamber.
Options on both models include Auto-Cycle, which manages bale formation from start to finish, and an exclusive independent torsion axle suspension for smoother operation.

Three new crop mergers from New Holland include the economical, center-pull H5410 with a 9-12' merging capability and the swing-tongue 9' H5420 and 12' H5430. All can be operated with 70-hp tractors.
On all models, a floating pickup features replaceable, three-prong teeth to deliver crop evenly to a 42"-wide ribbed conveyor. The pickup and conveyor adjust simultaneously. A tall, back conveyor panel ensures that all the crop is collected and merged into the windrow.
A slant-bar system on the Pequea 520 portable feeder saves time and money. Cows can't push each other away from feeding spaces, so there's less feed loss from spills. The feeder's convenient low tank height accommodates any size cow.
Just move the unit to a new location each day to eliminate heavy trampled spots and pasture wear. It has 34 feed openings and is 20' × 7'3". A 24' model is also available.
