The “Changing Forage Industry” is the theme of the 2013 Michigan Forage Technology Conference. The event is scheduled for March 7 at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center in East Lansing.
The future of the forage industry, hay supplies and demand, growing alfalfa-grass mixtures, Natural Resource Conservation Service programs, Michigan State University Extension forage research and more will be discussed. The annual meeting of the Michigan Forage Council (MFC) will also be held during the conference.
Registration by March 1 will be $35 for MFC members and $40 for non-members. Walk-in registration will cost $5 more. For more information, call 517-353-8645.
