Managing forages to improve cattle performance and cut costs will be the focus of the West Tennessee Grazing Conference, scheduled for March 19 at the University of Tennessee’s (UT) West Tennessee Research and Education Center in Jackson.

New forage species for Tennessee pastures, stocker cattle performance, pasture costs and profit opportunities using tall fescue will be among topics addressed. The event is sponsored by UT Extension and the Tennessee Forage and Grassland Council (TFGC).

Registration fee is $20 and includes dinner and TFGC membership.
