Silage Bagger

Miller Ag-Bag, St. Nazianz, WI, introduces the X1114 Professional silage bagger that fills 14' bags up to 500' in length, storing nearly 1,500 tons of feed. The bagger has a longer tunnel and extension, an 11'-wide rotor and improved crop flow over previous models. It boasts a 580-hp Cat C15 Tier III engine, a single-pass cooling system and a clutch rating up to 1,000 hp.

Features include a single joystick for bagging and maneuvering, a user-friendly reconfigured control panel, an electronic-controlled braking system for bagging and a foot-controlled brake for driving. Transport width is less than 10'.

Towing Tool

The Boxer Hitch, from Boxer Hitch, Ardmore, OK, enables workers to switch trailers or other towable implements in 10 seconds, without changing balls or hitches. Three balls of various sizes are mounted simultaneously, and a simple turn of a dial easily changes from one ball to another.

The hitch also features a pin slot for towing farm implements and adjusts to six different heights.

Hay Merger

The Kuhn 300 series Merge Maxx merger from Kuhn North America features a wide pickup and a cross conveyor that can easily be shifted for ideal windrow placement. It handles hay gently, reducing leaf loss, minimizes dirt and stones and creates a fluffy windrow for better harvesting.

New Tractor Models

Case IH is extending its Puma line of tractors with four short-wheelbase models ranging from 95 to 135 pto horsepower. All have the company's 6.75-liter Tier 3-compliant engines and a Power Shift transmission with 16 forward and six reverse gears. An optional 19×6 EconoGear Full PowerShift transmission with creeper gears will save fuel, running at a lower engine rpm at the same top speed of 25 mph.

The SurroundVision cab on all four models has 67 sq ft of glass for excellent visibility, and an optional high-visibility window in the roof lets the operator see the loader in the raised position.
