CLAAS of America is pleased to announce two significant changes within their parts management team, beginning with the appointment of Jeff Tilden as Vice President – Parts. Tilden will lead the parts business unit out of Columbus, Indiana.
Jeff joins CLAAS with an extensive background in agriculture, construction and forestry. He has spent the last 20 years of his career in continually progressive roles with a leading ag manufacturer, most recently serving as Manager of Business Development for Worldwide Parts Services.
“Superior parts and service support is a hallmark of CLAAS and we pay careful attention to ensure that we deliver consistency, quality and efficiency, to both our dealers and their customers,” noted Eric Raby, President & General Manager – Sales for CLAAS of America.
“We have a strong culture of industry-leading customer service in our parts operations throughout North America. In the last few years, we have invested significantly to expand our main warehouse in Columbus, Indiana, and open a new facility in Regina, Saskatchewan. However, continuing to build up our expertise and efficiency has been the main priority because that’s where our end-users see the difference,” said Raby. “In support of that direction, we are pleased to announce the addition of Jeff Tilden as the new Vice President – Parts for CLAAS of America.”
Jeff replaces Roger Parker, who retired in December 2016 after more than 34 years with the company.
In addition, Kelly Snider, who served for a number of years as the Sales & Marketing Manager for the North American Parts Operations, has been promoted and will have added responsibility in the role of Director, Sales & Marketing for both parts and service functions. He will lead an expanding team of Regional Parts Managers and work closely with colleagues from marketing to ensure that the CLAAS brand attributes extend to all facets of the after-sales business and that the close connection to both dealers and customers remains strong.
“We welcome Jeff to the CLAAS family, congratulate Kelly on his added responsibilities, and look forward to their contributions to our growth initiatives and to maintaining our high standards of customer service,” said Raby.
