The World Forage Analysis Superbowl evaluates eight forage categories on visual and lab analysis. The divisions include – the six listed previously, as well as standard corn silage and brown midrib corn silage, which were submitted at an earlier date. The top forage producers will be named and recognized on Wednesday, September 30, during the virtually hosted BREVANT Seeds Forage Superbowl Luncheon, made possible by Platinum Contest Sponsor, BREVANT Seeds.
The Grand Champion Forage Producer will be awarded $2,500 compliments of Kemin Animal Nutrition & Health while the Grand Champion First-Time Entrant will receive $2,000 thanks to sponsor Kuhn North America, Inc. Producers who win the Quality Counts Corn Silage and Quality Counts Hay/Haylage awards will win $1,000. The Quality Counts Hay/Haylage award is sponsored by CROPLAN by Winfield.
The cash award for each division winner is $1,500, with additional cash prizes presented to second through fifth place finishers. This prize money is provided by Division Sponsors: Ag-Bag by RCI, Agri-King, Inc., Barenbrug USA, BREVANT Seeds, Lallemand Animal Nutrition, NEWGROW Alfalfa, Scherer Inc., and W-L Alfalfa.
