Achieving Aerobic Stability
Silage inoculants are a common sight on farms – and for a reason. Using a silage inoculant containing a heterofermentative strain of Lactobacillus buchneri helps producers achieve improved aerobic stability through the production of acetic acid. One challenge with this process, though, is that it takes up to 6-8 weeks for acetic acid to traditionally be produced.
