Recognition for Kinze Manufacturing extended past national borders in December when its 3600 planter received a prominent award within the Innovation category in the Bulgarian competition, “Contribution to Mechanization in Agriculture.” The competition is organized by Agriculture Technic, one of Bulgaria’s oldest specialized agriculture publications, and is supported by Bulgarian education, business and government organizations.

The Kinze 3600 planter was chosen for its unique patented folding technology, the patented vacuum meter system and precise high-speed planting. Kinze was entered into the competition by its Bulgarian Dealership, INTERAGRI. “This competition is one of a kind and is one of the most reputable in Bulgaria,” said Martina Bakardzhieva, with INTERAGRI. “Its prestigious jury lineup gives a reliable evaluation of the latest technologies that are available in our country.”

Kinze celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015, and has been reflecting on their half century of innovations and achievements. “It is an exciting accomplishment to see our American-made planters represented in the global market by winning prestigious awards for our innovation and commitment to quality manufacturing,” said Susanne Veatch, vice president and chief marketing officer for Kinze Manufacturing. “We are truly honored to receive this award for innovation, which is something that’s so important to us at Kinze.”
