As haying season gets into full swing throughout Washington, the Adopt-a-Horse Program in Clark County is seeking forage donations.

They will go toward feeding horses relinquished to Animal Protection and Control. At the end of May, the county and program’s hay barn was nearly empty, according to program organizers.

Horse-quality, weed-free local hay or eastern grass hay is being sought.
