Vermeer’s high-capacity VR1224 carted wheel rake has 12 rake wheels and features a balanced, high-clearance frame and toolbar for greater raking versatility in a variety of conditions. Rake widths range from 20’ to 24’5”.
Quick wrench-free adjustments make it easy to change raking width as well as windrow width – from 21” to as wide as 8’2”. A rubber torsion suspension requires no tools to adjust for light or heavy settings. The unit can be easily switched to work as a single-sided rake with left- or right-side configurations for turning windrows.
Rotary Disc Headers
The RD3 Series headers from Case IH are ideal for users who demand high-quality hay and greater productivity along with reduced maintenance costs and downtime. The RD193 has a full 19’ cutting width; the RD163 provides a true 16’ cutting width.
Both models have a wider disc cutterbar designed to reduce “scalloping,” lowering horsepower consumption for better fuel efficiency and optimized productivity. A full-length auger provides optimal feeding and superior windrowing, and interchangeable conditioning systems fit a range of crop types.
Harper Industries has introduced the 600 and 700 Series DewEze
Bale Beds, the latest innovations in hauling and feeding hay with trucks. The models feature solid dummy arms, standard receiver hitch with D-rings, dual-lift cylinders and Gatorhyde coating on the deck surface. They also sport a redesigned headache rack, LED lights in the rear tailgate and a new arm paint color.
The Krogmann Feeder Trailer from Krogmann Manufacturing is designed to efficiently transport and feed large round bales to cattle on location. Built to keep hay waste at a minimum, it saves 20-30% more hay compared to conventional feeders, according to the company.
Its racks fold flat for moving hay off fields and quickly fold back into feeder position. The feeder comes in 20’ and 28’ lengths.
New Holland’s Guardian sprayers have the industry’s highest horsepower, largest tank size, smoothest suspension, highest ground clearance and tightest turning radius, say company officials. Three front-boom models with four-wheel hydrostatic drive and two rear-boom models with two-wheel mechanical drive are available.
The front-boom sprayers have up to 365 hp with a choice of tank sizes up to 1,600 gallons and boom widths up to 120’. The rear-boom models, available with 240 or 275 hp, cover up to 120’ per pass. Their tanks hold up to 1,200 gallons.
HitchDoc has introduced a new line of industrial-grade two-stage snow blowers. The lineup consists of single-, double- and triple-auger models equipped with large, deep fans and exclusive tiger-teeth augers, which handle the toughest of conditions and increase material flow.
Other features include a hydraulic spout rotator, adjustable deflector, high-strength corner bracing, heavy-duty idler wheels, adjustable skid shoes, a pto-driven gear box and three-point-mount design.
