A conference on utilizing corn silage in dairy rations will be held Sept. 30 during the World Dairy Expo in Madison, WI.
Sponsored jointly by Hay & Forage Grower and Hoard's Dairyman magazines and Mycogen Seeds, the conference will feature a three-person panel of leading dairy nutritionists and consultants. Discussion will center on strategies to maximize the value of corn silage in dairy rations. Brown midrib silage will be part of the discussion.
Panelists confirmed to date are: Randy Shaver, University of Wisconsin, Madison, and Mary Beth Hall, U.S. Dairy Forage Research Center, Madison.
The conference runs from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Waubesa Room in Exhibition Hall on the expo grounds. There is no charge, but attendees are asked to register with Hay & Forage Grower. Space is limited.
