The first Northern Colorado Alfalfa Days will take place June 28-29 at the Ted Carlson farm, Eaton, CO. It will include speakers, commercial exhibits and equipment demonstrations.

On the first day, speakers will cover hay markets and forage analysis. Second-day topics will include alfalfa additives, insect damage and prevention, and fertilizer management. Windrowers/swathers, choppers, stackers and retrievers will be demonstrated the first day; rakes and balers the second.

As complements to the event, the Greeley Independence Stampede will host a rodeo at 7:30 p.m., June 29, and a Mark Willis and Jo Dee Messina concert will start at 8 p.m., June 29.
