Doug Mayo, an extension agent the Florida Panhandle’s Jackson County, and Ann Blount, a well-known University of Florida (UF) plant breeder, recently combined to take virtual learning to the next level by offering an online field day that features a tour of UF small grain and ryegrass forage plots at the North Florida Research and Education Center near Marianna, Fla.
