Seven Forage Toolbox seminars will be held during this year’s World Dairy Expo, set for Oct. 4-8 at Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI. The seminars, by U.S. Dairy Forage Research Center, University of Wisconsin and Cornell University experts, are as follows:

Oct. 5, 10:30 a.m. Improving Forage Harvest Efficiency, Matt Digman; 1:30 p.m. – Corn Silage Fermentation Time and Starch Digestibility, Pat Hoffman.

Oct. 6, 10:30 a.m. Top- Producing Herds in Wisconsin Feed More Forage, Randy Shaver; 1:30 p.m. – Fall-Grown Oats Offer High Fiber Digestibility and High Energy, Wayne Coblentz.

Oct. 7, 10: 30 a.m. Minimize Bunker/Bag Silage Losses, Brian Holmes; 1:30 p.m. – Reducing Greenhouse Gases Can Also Reduce Feed Costs, Larry Chase.

Oct. 8, 10: 30 a.m. Capitalizing on Forages to Reduce Corn and Soybean Purchases, Larry Chase.
