Alfalfa, other forage crops and grains will be the focus of the 2012 California Alfalfa & Grains Symposium, slated for Dec. 10-12 in Sacramento.
The comprehensive conference will focus on global issues, economics and crop production techniques pertaining to alfalfa and grain crops. Water management, fertilizers and nutrients, crop quality and pest management also will be discussed.
Attendees can learn from 30 expert speakers, visit with colleagues and see the latest alfalfa and grain products and services in a commercial exhibits area. Farmers, pest-control advisors, certified crop advisers, industry members, agency representatives and others are invited to attend.
