Researcher Geoff Brink will talk about getting the most out of cool-season perennial grasses at the March 8 Eastern Iowa Hay Producers Association Annual Meeting and Conference.
The 2012 Eastern Iowa Hay Producers Association (EIHPA) Annual Meeting and Conference will be held Thursday, March 8, at Buzzy’s in Welton.
The featured speaker is Geoff Brink, research agronomist at the USDA-ARS U.S. Dairy Forage Research Center, Madison, WI. Brink will discuss management practices – growing, harvesting and storing – for getting the most out of cool-season perennial grasses. Other topics on the agenda include alfalfa production and management and regional updates from Iowa State University agronomy and beef specialists.
