Hay & Forage Grower is pleased to announce that C.J. Weddle has joined the team as our 2020 summer editorial intern. She will enter her senior year at Mississippi State University in the coming fall and is majoring in agricultural education, leadership, and communications.
Weddle grew up on a farm in Vardaman, Miss., where her family raises sweet potatoes and soybeans. While at Mississippi State, she was a founding member of the school’s Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow chapter and has served that organization in several leadership roles. Weddle is also a member of Sigma Alpha, a professional agriculture sorority.
Since June 2019, Weddle has served as an intern for Osborn + Barr, a marketing and communications agency based in St. Louis, Mo. She worked with the Mississippi Soybean Promotion Board account where she had the opportunity to author blogs and news articles while also contributing to their social media content.
As an intern at Hay & Forage Grower, Weddle will provide editorial content and aid in the production of eHay Weekly. She will also write feature articles for the magazine, contribute to our photo database, and be actively involved in posting content to our various social media and website platforms. Weddle will officially begin her internship on June 1.
